Installed this button replacement today. Its 20$. You can change just the top portion of the mechanism and not buy the whole 200$ button assembly, which is nice. They also have plain plastic red and plastic blue replacement buttons.

Reason: Grammar
I was initially looking for a blue button to match the car color but the only blue there is light blue. Then I stumbled on this one made of glass like material, with the back light and crystal effect - looks good.
The red one is same shade like yours. But when you change the whole button the background light I imagine would be better. Plus would look more oem upclose

I got the Lexus LS hybrid start button. The button and the surround are both metal. Looks nicer in person.
It does, especially if its metal. I was looking at that one only because its blue. Just curious, are the new style buttons- grey and blue- both metal?
actually since the light goes through the button is probably plastic with metal coating.

The cheapest price to buy it is amayama, for $76.56 for the entire button and $15.87 for the shipping to VA. I received it within a week, shipped dhl express. https://www.amayama.com/en/part/toyota/8961111020
Here is the part number for the gray one:

That is very interesting. In japan is cheaper. The prices actually make sense on this site . I saw something on a site megazip or something but I thought its some scam, like why is price so much lower. But this one has good reviews on google/reddit and its oem. Thumbs up for that.

I've purchased from megazip, amayama, and jp-carparts, all are legit genuine Lexus Parts. Lexus Parts in Japan are much cheaper than anywhere else. Those guys that import parts from Japan and sell here make a nice profit. Bumper tow hook covers come painted from Lexus Japan for $5 from a USA dealer it's not painted and $20.
I was able to take out acrylic part but still it doesn’t fit.
this button has a light hole on top, its made for older vehicles. I didn’t post the link because I don’t know if sales links are allowed, sorry. The right name of the item is in the screenshot. Should say without the light hole.
