You bigot!

Welcome to the club. We don't have donuts but we can DO donuts.

Oddly enough, I got an email out of the blue from Toyota about some new lifted Crown or something. It was light on info and mostly hype. The only association I have with Toyota was a 2003 Tundra I sold in 2016 that had the bed recall. They are really trolling their old contact database.

I assume the Crown is a lifted FWD/AWD Camry or something similar. Another yawnfest upscale-wannabe econobox.

It's actually a whole lineup although we may get the boring stuff here in the US.

One of them is a rwd sedan which is likely next iteration of what was once the GS. At least it looks it to me. This version looks a lot like the KIA K5 sport sedan but I can imagine Lexus would make something nice out of it, if given the opportunity.

I think the FWD version looks pretty good in this video and will likely look pretty nice in person in higher trim levels. I appreciate this new tweener segment of not quite a car, not quite a crossover/SUV.

Folks we've got a couple Crown threads running in car chat for more info on the various models coming to the US

Those crosstour styling never really sit well with me. Sedan and SUV I get but when u mix the two together, it just looks plain weird to me and doesn't matter who makes them. A full on wagon might look better but I'm still a sedan and coupe guy.
