Default Opening trunk without access to trunk.

Hello, I messed up, and I don't know what to do.
Wanted to remove steering wheel to grease the shaft under it. To achieve that I removed positive wire from the car battery in the trunk and closed it.
Turns out past owner messed up the key hole of the trunk and didn't tell anything about that so now I can't unlock it using key and I have no power in my car.
According to documentation there is no way to jump start the car from outside the trunk, what should I do to get out of this mess? Any Ideas?
On the gs 3th model there is positive terminal in the fuse box, but on this model it doesn't say anything about that in documentation and there is no markings in the fuse box.

What car do you have that has the battery in the trunk? In my 4th gen 2013 GS 350 AWD, it is under the hood in front of the right side firewall.

If by some chance, you do have a trunk battery, I'd try going through the access panel between the back seats with a grabber tool or coat hanger to pull the manual trunk release.

It's 2012-06 4th gen gs450h, so the battery is in the back and hybrid battery behind the back seat rest, so only way i can think of currently is to remove back seats, back panel and subwoofer and try to reach through the subwoofer hole, but this sounds like a mission.

I called a lock smith, but the lock is so messed up that he can't help, last owner left me a surprise. A piece of the lock is already missing, the piece that is supposed to pull the physical unlock cord...

Managed to get into the boot through the subwoofer hole... using this post https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...inson-sub.html leaving it here for future explorers. There is no physical pull to open the trunk, so you have to remove top lid and pull the cord attached to the unlock mechanism.

So, what's in the front where the battery should be?

Learn something everyday! Turns out Lexus didn't give me that lovely little storage spot in the boot because they care, it's to fit the hybrid 12v battery haha.

Wait so the hybird model doesn’t have a trunk release hatch inside the trunk? I thought that was a safety feature on most cars. Interesting to know what a nightmare that must’ve been. Glad you got it opened OP

I'm sure that it does, but there is no way to access it with the trunk closed. The hybrid does not have the pass-through in the rear seat to reach through, as that's where the hybrid battery resides if I am not mistaken.

Can you backfeed the car's electrical system via the cigarette lighter receptacle in the console?
