Default worn tires?

I just read a post about someone having mega worn out Michelin tires at 18K miles.
Do GS 350s destroy tires?

Depends on the tire and driving style. If they are staggered fitment the rear tires are already rated for half the tread life on the rears.

I have 2016 AWD GS350 with about 51k miles and am still running the OEM Michelins. I think I can get another 5k miles out of them without any issue. That person must be driving his GS really hard with frequent burnouts.

I think the OP was referring to me regarding the tires. I should have mentioneed that my 2015 GS has 99K miles and my Michelin PS3s only have 18k on them and are just worn on the inside of the tread - there's still plenty of tread left across the tire, but due to the inability to adjust the negative camber in the rear, I'm just going through them quicker than I'd like even while being vigilant about rotations. I'm looking to add a camber adjustment to the rear so I can flatten the tire out against the road a little better. That ought to help, I hope.

I've also never done a burnout in this car, and consider myself a pretty mellow driver 😊

That's the main reason I didn't go with an is350 this time, I hated wearing out tires in the inside only like IS'S do, I'm hoping the GS wears tires evenly. My GS is not the sports model.

The PS3 is only a 20k mile tire. Pair that with inner tread wear and not being able to rotate and your lucky to get 18k out of them.

You running stock wheels? Sizes? Any suspension mods?

The Michelin Pilot Sport 4S on the F Sport cars, like our GS, are a high performance summer (aka sticky) tire. They have a 30K tread wear rating but are staggered which reduces the warranty to 15K because you cannot rotate them. I think I have close to 30K on mine, not sure. They are also over $300 each, as I recall. Ouch.
I am considering the new Pilot All Season next time. Not sure.

No mods, stock wheels, and 225/45/18 all around. I love the tires as I do a lot of mountain driving, and it's absolutely a great addition to the Sport mode of this car...

If you are burning the insides of the tires up, you have an alignment issue. Is it the fronts or the rears?

My 2013 AWD had severe inner rear tire wear due to excessive (though in-spec) camber settings. It wasn't adjustable in stock configuration and I had SPC arms installed. It now has -0.5° camber and after 10,000 miles, I've not seen any abnormal tire wear. I drive some back roads and I do enjoy tossing this heavy thing into the turns.

If you are wearing the front tires out, it is probably related to excessive to toe but a full alignment is the only way to be sure.

howz the road noise from the tires at city and highway speeds?

Well, I think it's fine. Truth be told, I really don't pay much attention to road noise. I guess I have been in too many puckups with all terrain tires that sing down the highway.
