Default My first car

Today I was blessed to get my first car. It is a 2013 Lexus GS350. It has just about 143,000 and is a one owner. I’m beyond excited for my future with it. I did a lot of reading on cars and found that I wanted a Toyota my family has owned six and I have been around them my whole life. I love the Gs it’s the perfect combination of power, luxury, and reliability. Thanks to everyone on here I did a lot of reading to see if this is the best car for me and I’m glad I did. Hope everyone has a great night.

Badas first car man. Take care of her and she will last you all the years you need to build up your life. Just maintain it and it will give you all the fun and reliability most other vehicles won't.
Congrats!!

Congrats! Way to go on a super nice first car. I am sure it will be a great ride for you.

I will also drop an idea here that If you let Lexus GS people know where you are at in Florida, I bet you will get some extra detail business!

I know I would sure rather someone take extra good care of my ride like they would treat their own of the same family of cars.

Sorry OP, you bought the wrong car... one's first car should always be a 1979 Volvo 240 station wagon.... with diesel engine.

But seriously, congrats and welcome to ClubLexus. I am pretty sure with the basic maintenance and care, this car will last you another 150k miles with no issues. Since majority of us have had issues with the suspension leaking in our cars, put the car up on a lift and do a check of the shocks and struts for leaks/weeps, if you haven't already. Other than that, dont forget to put a little extra pressure on the gas pedal every now and then for a smirkful drive.

BTW, I am huge fan of the black and taupe color combo.

I’m a big fan of the spec. I will be sure to check for any leaks I believe it did have some suspension work done around 100k but not to sure I will have to double check.
