2016 bumper off -parking light wire help!
I am installing fogs amd have decided not to mess with the oem switch. I'm going to tap the parking light wire. Rather than run into the cabin, I figured I would just tap AT the light. Which wire is the positive?
I have a voltmeter, but don't know how to test with this connector. This is behind the passenger side (under headlight)
Please help!

It's a green wire under the dash... so could it be one of these two green ones? This plug looks to control everything inside the light assembly, so it has to be one of these, right?

I used a volt meter after disconnecting the harness and tested all of them. The black wire looked like it had power, but after test-tapping I dont think it has enough juice.
Anyone have another idea where to tap the parking wire under the hood?

That's exactly what I'm doing. I'm looking for the power to the parking lights to trigger the relay. I couldn't find it after testing, so I just replaced the goddamn washer reservoir (no amount of manipulating it would give the lights clearance) and ran the trigger into the cabin. I tested the lights with the battery (power trigger from positive, trip relay, lights on) and they are everything I wanted. The light output isn't great, but they look amazing. I'll finish wiring the trigger under the dash in the morning. It's time to shower and head to dinner.
Also, could you remind me which wire / where for parking lights? Green wire, N12 connector?

With the parking lights on, this is exactly what I wanted. It was a long endeavor to do this project (Nigel's kit came with a wire harness that didn't work so I had to run new wires myself - and the washer bottle DEFINITELY needed to be replaced) but I am happy with the lights.

Actually, during this photo, the trigger wire is clipped to the battery for testing. When I run it into the cabin tomorrow morning, I will tap into the parking light wire. So when then parking or headlights are on they'll turn on.
I have a few minor scratches from the whole bumper fiasco, so tomorrow I'm removing those and then I'll grab some better photos. I just need to vinyl the roof and spoiler and I'm done.
