Default 2013 GS 450h - Concerned About Potential Purchase

I'm looking at this car at a dealership and the Carfax says it was in a minor accident (front left impact) in which the air bags didn't deploy. My concern is that I was under the impression that all of the 450's came with bamboo steering wheels and this one has an all leather wheel. Was all leather an option or has this wheel been replaced?

Only a 450h with the luxury package has the wood(bamboo) on the steering wheel. The base model just has an all leather steering wheel.

The luxury package has 18 way power adjustable front seats, wood steering wheel, rear heated seats with radio/temp controls, the seats are semi-aniline leather(softer than the standard seats), 3 zone climate control, and rear door sun shades.

Not all GS's with the luxury package include the rear heated seats. Apparently there is a luxury package with rear heated seats and a luxury package without rear heated seats. My 13' GSh has the luxury package, but doesn't have rear seated seats.. it was a California car, so perhaps the owner decided to opt out. Not a big deal as I'm in TX and it hardly gets cold here compared to the rest of the country.

Is that a fully loaded hybrid for $23K and 58K in miles? Clean title? If so, I think that's a great deal.

I came across a base model hybrid for $25/$26K miles with 38K miles. Clean title, but it had suffered minor damage to the front right of the vehicle that was repair by a Lexus dealership.

Depends on the options. I would say look for one with the luxury package, you won't regret it. Easy tell is the wood steering wheel.

Here are the options for 2013

Yeah I know was trying to figure out why your car doesn't have heated rear seats. It doesn't appear they mention it in the brochure at all. I upgraded my seats, ones I bought had it.

Heated rear seats were a stand-alone option on luxury package cars.

For cost reference, I purchased my 2013 GS 450H (CPO), with 54k miles on it for $24K OTD. I did trade in a 2004 Saturn Vue for $175k miles on it, so I know I didn't get much for it. They originally wanted $26,300 OTD with my trade, and I said not a penny over $24K. The bastards came back and said OK to my price. Have not regretted buying it. Non Luxury though, which would have been nice, but not a necessity as I find the seats comfortable. Would have liked the HUD just to say I had it.

That's a good price. Thanks for your input. I see yours's is CPO, this car is at CarMax. Would you opt for the extended warranty? I made a post about this in the Hybrid section, but I know that area doesn't get much traction.

I agree but trying to find a Luxury Package hybrid GS is like finding a needle in a haystack, he will probably have to travel pretty far if he can even find a decent one, finding a hybrid GS is hard enough, finding a Lux Package is even harder, both together, there were so few sold, I don't think I ever saw one online when I was looking.
