Okay, so have the Lux plus package in my GS, which comes with the wood/leather steering wheel that is also heated. There are three sections of the steering wheel that are leather, but only the two side portions heat up. Is that normal? Also...for those that have an F-Sport with heated steering wheel...does your entire wheel heat up or just the side portions???

Only the three and nine o'clock positions on the steering wheel are heated on the GS. Other manufactures, such as Nissan (Infiniti), equip their vehicles with 360 degree heating on the steering wheel.

 

This is one of my only gripes. Having a 5 series in the past with the FULL heated steering wheel was very nice!

 

This is my first car with a heated steering wheel so I'm not feeling at slighted by not having the full wheel heated.

did anyone ask for an F Sport owner . yeah Play, only 3&9 heat up. i've only used mine once, but only until i got to the highway. after entering the highway i did the old gangsta lean... right elbow on the center console, right hand on the gear shift and the left hand on top and slightly to the right of the steering wheel.

 

I use mine everyday since December started...cold here in Vermont!
