Same here. It's nice to just jump in and leave right away. This also helps alleviate the jerk when shifting from R to D when the engine is cold.

I think it's also worth it just for the fact that it'll send you notifications if you forget to lock it, leave a window down, the alarm goes off, etc. The peace of mind is nice.

Another trick i do if it is really hot or cold and im going into the store real quick is get out the car , remote start the car with the keyfob :
and then come back to a cooled or heated car. You need enform to do this , but the car will run for about 15 minutes this way. Its locked and running

2013s have a factory remote start option that does not require enform, and there are aftermarket solutions that offer the same to 2013+.

The driving dynamic between the 15 and 16+ is so different. I prefer the 15, it is MUCH 'sportier', can feel the road better. The 16 is too isolated for my taste.

EDIT: I had 3 years of Enform Remote + something else, totally worth it for me. Especially unlocking/locking doors from across the state, remote start, etc.

Wait what? So it was an option in the ‘13 model and then taken away for the ‘14 only to bring it back again? I was unaware of this!

There's a bunch of aftermarket remote starters for our vehicles.

I have WarmCarNow and it was plug and play.
Costed $169 to my door.
Super easy to install.
Free to have, no need for a subscription.

Honestly, I’ve been skeptical of doing an aftermarket remote starter because of a bad experience with my previous SUV. Took it to the most reputable shop in town, Viper 2 way remote starter/alarm installed and it just gave me problem after problem. First, it killed the battery then the starter and then the battery again. I would find the battery drained all the time.Note- that the battery was changed to a bigger one and even after that the problem persisted.

Anyways, I don’t know if I want to take the same risks with my GS. Been waiting for the local Lexus dealer to post their yearly remote start installation $350 labor included. At least by having the work done there, I would feel a little safer if anything was to happen.

Any issues with your car after installing the remote start?

I've had both, and you just can't lose either way, in my opinion. Each has it's pluses and minuses.
