you felt like spending on your 4th gen GS what would you do to it? I have a 15 GS lux edition and I'm not sure what I should do. I've considered the Takeda CAI... are their others you'd consider? what about the Apexi throttle controller? one of the Grom or Beatsosonic upgrades for the infotainment?

what if you had 1k you could "blow"

thoughts?

GROM Vline definitely. It will be more useful than all the other mods you listed.

I'd do the same as jdpdata. I've been eyeing it for a while now.

I'd probably get a JL Audio powered sub installed with $500 bucks to blow. If I had $1000, maybe look for a couple of unique OEM items (rear spoiler, JDM mud guards, JDM chrome side mouldings rear tail light swap to 2016 tails, illuminated sills). Here are a couple of good places to start (i'm sure the vendors on here can get you good prices as well):

How does the Vline compare to Beatsonic? The mirroring seems cool but it seems like the only thing I would dislike is the output of 480p for the video.
Ive been looking at the beatsonic for my 2016 gs.

GROM is not a mirroring solution like Beatsonic. It's a standalone Android box that integrate with your Lexus offering many Android apps like Maps, Waze, Pandora, YouTube, Netflix.. Pretty much anything you want. It's much more functional than any mirroring solutions IMO. There's a few quirks but overall I really like the product. Go read up on my Vline thread

Thanks jdpdata! very informative thread, I like the full screen support for a 2016+ GS. Apple car play looks decent as well.

I'd probably spend it all on car care product. I'm a total junkie for the latest and need an intervention.

I too am a car care junkie. I used to spent hundreds on products, but Bead Maker has changed my life. This stuff goes on/off easy and the shine is insane.

Just finished the GS, now working on the wife's MDX.

I've heard nothing but great reviews on the Bead Maker and it's reasonably priced. Do you use it as a drying aid or spray on dry?

Yeah it's great stuff. I use it as both drying aid and sacrificial layer on top of wax. I spray down the entire car when semi dried and use MF to buff to shine. Seems to last about 3-5 weeks in between applications. It's so cheap I don't mind using a lot of this stuff. A gallon is only about $36 on Amazon. Bird poop and pollen just slides right off my paint. Nothing sticks to it. Smells great too, like tropical fruit🥭

I bought some Bead Maker and put it on my truck. Guess I need to try it again as I wasn't that impressed with it. Glad to hear someone else's experience was better.

JD, did you start with a clean surface? First application, I clay and decontaminate paint first. Then apply my favorite wax, then top with Bead Maker. I get better results this way. I reapply Bead Maker after every 2-3 car washes. What I like about it is you can apply it to everything, paint, glass, vinyl, plastic..it all get UV protection. Can use inside on dash and windshield too.

Sorry to OP for jacking your thread. We should probably take this discussion somewhere else.
