Allegedly. Differences are a given but why? How? The OP has asked whether he can mod his vehicle so he can enjoy moving reversing lines. I'm not gloating, I'm trying to help by stating that my pre-facelifted car has the feature which is a good sign that it's likely just software, not a facelift hardware change.

I've posted a system diagram which probably indicates it's a difficult ask(was hoping for a separate computer), feel free to make a contribution so we can figure out how it all works.

What exactly is the option to toggle the setting?
I could not find it in the customization list or owners manual.

 

If memory serves me, it was in the "Vehicle Customization" screen under "Setup" and you could choose which guidelines were active and which were not, and whether or not they would move with the steering or not. I can't find the menu screen grabs in the owner's manual though, and can't go take pics at the moment.
