Default Adjusting Parking Lines in Rear View Camera

I see many cars have the parking lines move when you have your steering wheel turn, i thought it might be a feature we have to turn. I cannot find anything in the manual or through search

I actually have a 2014 CT200h as loaner vehicle at the moment, and it is the first Lexus vehicle (at least that I've seen) which does support this feature (i.e. the moving parking lines). Since the rest of the infotainment setup in the 2014 CT is identical to the 2014 IS, I'm holding on to a glimmer of hope that they might release an update to add this functionality to our cars, since theoretically it should be a software change only. My guess though - is even though they probably *could* add it to our cars pretty easily - they wont; but the 2015 models will probably have it. Just my two cents at guessing..

The lines don't turn in the 4GS either, so I wouldn't hold my breath.

Lexus is never good at updating software to add new features, we would never see this in our car.

The lines in the EDM 2014 IS does turn.
May or may not have something to do with adding the navi and ML option, don't know.

Do however know for a fact that I have lines on my rear view cam does move, and that I can turn this feature on and off. 2014 IS 300h f-sport with Navi and ML.
If Asian and Euro cars have this option, It should be able to install to US cars also.

Would it be too troublesome for you to take a video of this and show us?

My last two 2IS's have had this feature as has my 2014 IS, I can't understand why it not on vehicles on the North American side of the pond.

The new 2014 CT has the moving lines. Also annoying that the sun visor doesn't slide for more coverage. It's absolutely useless when the sun is on your left. But of course the CT and other models have it.

Before we got the Lexus, my wife was driving a '13 V6 Accord sedan. The rear camera offered three views: one without the lines, one with fixed lines, the other with moving lines. Additionally, there was a separate camera to cover the right side blind spot while rolling (which never made sense to me - it's the left side I'm most concerned with). Additionally, there was lane departure/forward collision warning--this on a car that cost $15,000 less than the Lexus. It also had a driver's seat memory function, which I sorely miss.

My 3IS is an exponentially better car in terms of driving dynamics, but one wonders why Toyota decided not to equip our cars better.

Made a small video of the functions last night with my cell phone. Sorry about the poor quality.
