I've sent the video below to GROM support sometimes in June as an example of what they could do. Scroll to timestamp 6:20 of the video. Beat-Sonic has found a solution to that problem. I'm not sure if those guys pride at GROM has gotten in the way but I don't see why they can't do something in the same line.

Yeah the siri button is totally needed. My car and phone thankfully work very well with "Hey Siri" but it would be cool to just press the button. They could re-purpose the lexus voice command button, as the Lexus voice commands are useless.

So you guys with CP don't have access to Siri with Map button pressed? Mine when pressed summons Google Assistance. It doesn't always lowers the music so kinda hard for her to hear my commands. Hope they will fix this soon.

With iOS 13 you can do “Hey Siri” or click and hold the dots bottom left corner to invoke Siri. Also, from iOS 12, if you click and hold the home button, it invokes Siri as well

Yes, I know you can invoke voice search via the software buttons, but you don't have hard "Maps" button to invoke Siri? Strange. Maybe it's an iOS restriction. Walled-Garden, that's why I hate anything Apple. Android FTW!

Note: this is only for 2014+ radios.
2013 does not have Siri eyes-free, but you can easily replace a 2013 radio w a 2014 radio.
ML and non-ML radios are interchangeable.

I made a thread about radios a while back.

I must say Apple made some drastic improvements with Carplay in iOS13; the BIGGEST one by far is the audio quality. The audio quality is now comparable to the iPod/native Apple USB integration that the GS has stock; playing music via USB or iPod integration still sounds the best , but the CarPlay audio when fro a distance tenth place in my book to at least 3rd. I am glad the upped the audio quality, as iOS12 CarPlay audio was bad for music.

Experience another BSOD, 3rd since I've installed it. Looks like it is something I have to live with..sigh
Only way to get it to reboot is disconnect harness in the rear of unit.
Someone hurry up and work up a hard reset button. GROM doesn't seem to be of any help to me regarding this request.

Thanks Bob! It happens few and far in between but annoying nonetheless. Hope you can work up a hard reset button.

Happened to me yesterday too. I had the pink screen where my entire screen was useless.
