2014 GS350 hood won’t latch closed. Car only has 60,000 miles. Really annoying considering I have this same problem with my 2002. But that car has 274,000 miles so I understand. Disappointed

have you lubricated the latch? has it been in an accident?

Could be a somewhat stuck cable. Make sure the handle that pops the hood (on the inside of the car) is fully seated and try
again.

I lubricated the latch a bunch and got it working. Never been in an accident and the cable itself is fine. Hopefully it doesn’t keep occurring
My 98 gs had issues with the hood latching in the last year. Lexus replaced the cable before when it was young. But problem came back.
My 08 GS450h hood is hard to latch, you really have to slam it.
