1. Really hard to see any gap in that pic.
2. What year? The refreshed GS, 2016+, is definitely different from the the 2013-2015 models. My eyes can't see the difference in shape, but it's there.
3. It's $30 or less right? Can't expect perfection for cheap. Use some heat to soften the plastic and see if you can get it to conform to the shape of the car. Use a little double-sided adhesive if necessary.

That's unfortunate. There are mud guards offered by Toyota/Lexus but the markup on eBay is pretty high: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-2013-2...N/361204760975

Forum members have installed the OEM mud guards which fit 2013-2019 GS models. Nothing was changed with that portion of the car so the OEMs will definitely fit on the refreshed models (can't speak on any of the cheaper offerings out there though): https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...-guards-5.html

There is a difference between the the pre and post refresh models behind the front wheels.
I had purchased and installed mudguards from amazon on my 15 non-F Sport in July 2018 (~$30 as well). When I got my 2018 F Sport, I bought the same mudguards but discovered they would not fit. The ebay seller of the OEM mudguards also made a distinction between the 2013-2015 and the 2016+ fitment.
Like I said, I can't see the difference in that area, but it's there.

Thank you - I was under the impression that based on the mud guard thread, refreshed models had forum members successfully add the pre-refresh OEM mud flaps. Crazy that there is a difference!

OP..here's that eBay link for the 2016+ if thats what you have and might consider OEMs: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Lexus-GS250...9/181508633243

I just viewed the listing as it looks like the USB 2.0 is offered: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Lexus-GS250...pYu2:rk:1:pf:0
The color is listed as: <Color code : 8X1> Heat Blue contrast layering / Blue Pearl Tricoat

I searched for the paint code for USB 2.0 and found the 08X1... check it out.

Of course these are the expensive OEM splash guards shipping from Japan. I got a set and they were really high quality... worth almost the $400 they cost? Debatable... but worth it to me.

Go check them out...

$400+ for mudflaps. Does Lexus even sell these mudflaps directly or do you just get them off ebay?

My cheap $30 ebay ones fit surprisingly well but I have a pre 2016, had to drill 2 holes in the rear for them but otherwise they fit and look nice.

can you please post a link to the $30 part? There are so many options on eBay that it’s confusing to ensure that we get the right one

Lexus in the US does not sell them as it is not a dealer option here. When I took a trip to Japan a few years ago, I had my mother in law speak with some of her relatives there to help me order them directly about a month before I arrived there. I hand carried them (in my gym bag carry on) on the way back. The actual costs for them came out to just under $180 USD. Since shipping costs in general is usually higher in Japan, I would imagine something to ship of that size would have been at least a minimum of $150+

These look like them, I don't have the exact link because I ordered them months ago, link might have disappeared by then which some tend to do after a while on ebay. For $23 there really is no risk giving them a shot.

They are on 2017 F Sport. I may again put back the front ones, they are never going to fit , the proportions are not correct, Gap towards the bottom is big
The rear ones fit after drilling two holes. Yes they were for 30$
