So I've owned my '15 GS for less than a week and noticed the only clock is the obvious analog dial up front but no digital clock on that huge NAV display or even the instrument cluster? Am I stupid and can't find it in the settings or Lexus simply omits a digital clock?

An analog clock face is considered more elegant than a digital clock face.
It has also been found that most people will remember the time when they make a quick glance at an analog clock, but the time is almost immediately forgotten with a quick glance at a digital clock. Most people tend to remember the position of the hands on an analog clock both consciously and in their mind's eye unconsciously, but the digital readout often does not stick in their memory so much.
If you were to design an elegant personal area environment (room, office, etc.) you would not choose a digital clock unless the design style was Modern and likely had lots of glass, stainless-steel and cold, hard, squared-off surfaces and components.

mine has a digital clock on the instrument cluster at the bottom of the digital screen

I assume everyone knows how to tell time by looking at an analog clock, and doesn't need a digital readout to know what time it is.
not if the clock is always late or too early, and cost an arm and a leg to replace after it goes bad. I've always mounted my phone (note 8) on my vent and it has a "always on" display which has the time

This thread is kinda silly, but digital clocks can also be late or early and whatever component they are a part of would likely be expensive to replace as well. FWIW I really like the analog clock.
