I recently noticed that the driver's side rear view mirror tilting upwards when I am in reverse. It's supposed to tilt downwards, so I can see the ground.... I don't know why it started doing this. I've tried pushing it down and readjusting via the controls. Is there anyway to "reset" the mirrors? I'm going to bring this up on my scheduled maintenance in a couple weeks, but would like to know if anyone has experienced this and if there are any suggestions to fix this.

if it works like other models:
put car into reverse, adjust them to where you want them. then turn off the feature (on my RCF you turn off the mirror control by pressing the L or R button until it is not lit up).
put car back in drive
turn the feature back on
put in reverse and see if it went where it is supposed to.
---
likely what happened is someone adjusted the mirrors while in reverse and then ticked off the mirror control, thus saving the new setting.

And many threads that provide information about how to make the Side Mirrors Auto Tilt Down in Reverse adjustments.

Page 145 of the manual explains how to do it, but it is vague AF. I read the entire manual when I got the car and skipped right over this part. I'll try to adjust as mjegs described.
