i have it on my leased GS.. does it make a difference? not sure..

I just bought it because I figured I could just leave it in there and forget about it.. since it lasts longer the standard paper filter.

It's costs the same as 3 paper filters.. so the price was at break-even in the 3 years i'll have this car.

Or you can get the OEM F-Sport Filter...

In my experience it is more trouble than it's worth. Washing it, letting it dry and oiling it can be a pain. And if you put too much oil on it, which a lot of people often do, it can get into your air ducts and ruin MAF sensors.

I have the AFE Takeda intake with the dry filter element on mine... if you have the extra coin to spend I'd definitely recommend it. The sound improvement is awesome and if you can manage to keep your foot out of it you'll see a slight increase in MPG as well.

Heres a sound clip of it on youtube:

Correct, its a dry filter. You can clean with it with this too. Not sure about more horses. If I pair this filter up with the HPS intake pipe, there is a better throttle response on initial acceleration.

If I had to do it over again, I'd make the same decision. K&N intake with stock air box (with K&N pleated/oiled filter of course).

I got rid of the noise generator (goose call) and a lifetime filter element. More horsepower? Eh, who knows?!

Better sound under full/heavy throttle, definitely.
