Will there ever be solid lease deals on 2017 models...?
My lease on my IS ends later this year, and I have been eyeing the GS F Sport since the refresh in 2016.
Unfortunately, from everything I have read and researched, it doesn't appears the lease deals will ever be as good as they were during the 2014/2015 years where you could get in for under $500/month on a F Sport.
Were residuals just crazy high back then?
Hoping come December I can get a 2017 F sport for under $600 a month.

Note that from 2017 model year, Lexus has made the Navigation with 12.3" screen ($1730 value) and Safety+ ($700 value) standard on all GS models. That is a saving of $2430 right there over 2013-2016 model years.
No savings the buyers
I guess the NAV was standard on the 2016. So its just the lexus+ package
Nav was not standard in 2016. I know for sure because I bought a 2016 in Nov 2016. In 2017 models, the Nav is mentioned as "complimentary" with zero additional cost.
The Safety+ is now standard at no additional cost. So the $2430 is a direct saving for the customer (modulo the model year price increase).

Pretty sure the deals will hit in December for the annual December to remember event.
no one will lease a GS for over $600 or even close to it... not when you can get a 5-series or A6 EASILY on $600's

I don't mean to come across as rude, but this really has no effect on lease deals. More so the Money Factor and Residuals being offered by Lexus Financial Services.
You are not being rude. I am not fully aware of how the lease deals work with Toyota/Lexus. But I am sure if someone purchases the car, by cash or through financing, it will be a saving to the buyer because he will get the Nav and Safety+ packages for free which wasn't the case in 2016.
Dealers as a result are not discounting them as much
