Nope.

Do you get a chance to start your car prior to getting in? I usually give Enform a tap to get mine going a few minutes ahead of departure and it takes some of the 100*+ down.

I don't know if you're having an issue per se, maybe have it looked at.

They're ventilated seats, not cooled seats unfortunately. The ES has cooled seats. What you're feeling is just a fan circulating air so it won't feel cold ever, unless you're not feeling anything at all coming out. Try turning the passenger ventilated seat on when no one is seated, you should be able to hear the motor running.

Reading through this thread (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es-...ted-seats.html), I believe that the ES also has ventilated seats.. not true "air conditioned seats" (where the air from the cold A/C is routed into your seats).

Perhaps the LS has true "cooled seats"? I'm not sure.

If the ES was different and had true "cooled seats," I would find that absolutely stupid on Lexus' behalf since they would putting a better product in a lower tiered model.

If that is the case, they must have improved the ventilated seats on the 2016 ES as the seats got pretty cool during my test drive of it last year. Maybe placebo effect, i don't remember. Both my GF and I did think the same way though. Strangely the 2017 RX i had as a loaner was no better than the GS.

On a hot day it's best to let the A/C cool down the cabin interior for a few minutes before turning on the ventilated seats because the ventilated seat fans are drawing cabin temperature air from near the bottom of the seats and pressurizing this air up through the seat bottoms and seat backs.

You should feel the slight airflow from the seat back and seat bottom. To confirm that the ventilated seats are working - lean forward toward the dash and you will hear a rush-of-air noise from the fans.

I have a lot of experience living in Dallas where it oftentimes gets over 100°.

Make sure you have the AC blowing to your feet too and that will make the air drawn up into the seats much cooler.

I think someone attempted directing some air from the center console that was for the rear vents to the vent for the seat. Not sure how successful it was.
