nvm got how to open up the connector now just waiting for the repin tool to remove the pin

alright just swiped my stuff into the folding mirror, i got a question for those 2014+ with folding mirror do u guys have alittle play on ur mirror? i just got 1 mirror right now picking up the other side on fri and just wondering is it normal or this one is defective because my 2013 the mirror is tight no move might and this one have a bit movement. let me know i will post pic of how to remove the pin and the connector cover after i finish all this.

No play at all. In order to de-pin, get a small flat head screw driver and gently press down on the top of the terminal head where the red line is (not sure if that term is correct lol). Once pressed down the wire should come out easily.

got it i guess when it get power it tightening up the side mirror spring now it doesn't move

Actually that picture is the back of the 2014+ mirror you have to use the 2013 mirror for BSM to work so the color of the wires are different.
I ended up cutting the harness it plugs into and flipping that instead.


So Im planning to do this swap, unfortunately I cracked my driver glass. Is it still possible to use the 2014 Glass and just cut and flip the wires? Or is the 2014 glass completely unusable in the swap? Thanks
