i have been having a frustrating issue where I can't play Pandora through the Enform App using my iPhone 6. I start the App and then go to Pandora in the stereo, and only about 1/4 of the time it connects and shows up on the screen. If I have the App running I can still start Pandora on my phone and it does play through the stereo, so the phone is connected to the car, but I don't have the control features from within the stereo. The App works great when it works. But more often then not it doesn't. Is there some trick to this that I'm just not getting? Or does this system just not work properly?

 

Mine worked great until I updated my iPhone to iOS 10.0.2. Now my iPhone is always trying to shut down the Enform app.

Enform is is a bit finicky, but most of my issues have been a result of my phone, not the car.

 

My issues with Pandora is that it seems to crash after playing 4 or 5 songs.

 

I don't use the Enform app for Pandora, I just stream straight to the car via Bluetooth. The only control available to me via the car is volume, pause/play, and skipping forward on songs but it gets the job done reliably.

Edit -- I don't use Enform because it's a fairly crappy app, the only thing I use it for is destination search with the Nav, and even then it does a poor job. I had a case where I found a location using just the phone app, then searched from the car (with the app) and it found nothing...???

 

I decided to use Pandora when I saw your initial thread this weekend, It worked flawlessly for a short trip, Then I decided to switch between apps Iheart and the other music app. When I did that it timed out..LOL

 

Yes. I've had this issue myself an a Nexus 6...

 

I just use the phone app and plug it into the USB port. Never had an issue since. Btw I am using a 6s plus.

 

The phone app works fine, however, you have to break the law if you want to change stations or mark a thumbs up or down because you have to use the phone to do so.

 

I found the Enform Pandora app very unreliable and quit using it. I do use the Pandora app on my phone and bluetooth connect which works a lot better. I still have an issue once in a while where it will not start playing unless I press play on the Pandora app. Kind of pain when you are driving down your street leaving home or where ever. The car will also choose my iphone music instead of the Pandora station I last listened to on my phone. Also, kind of a pain when driving down the street to fix.
