Default Dumb question... transmission shift points?

Is there any kind of a chart/graphic that can show you the speeds that the two transmissions will generally upshift/downshift at? (6 spd vs 8 speed) I realize its not going to be the same thing every time, but it would be interesting to look at if such a thing exists.

The 6 speed won't shift into 6th until you're over 42 mph. That's the only bit of help I can give you.

Once you have the (1) Final Rear End Drive Gear and the (2) Transmission's Gear Ratios for each gear, the (3) Rear Tire's Circumference Size, and the (4) Engine's Redline shift point, then it is just an easy matter of calculating the numbers to obtain (A) the Ground Speed at Redline (or for any particular rpm desired) (B) for each gear. And, it is also easy to calculate what the rpm will be when the transmission (C) engages the next higher gear at upshifts.
