I opened up my headlight this morning to replace HID bulb and I found this 😠




Bracket melted

The bracket that holds the bulb melted. Do I need to replace the whole headlight unit?

 

Somebody put the bulb in without making sure it was secure. Yes, you would have to replace the whole lamp

 

Buy it used on ebay, don't go to dealer unless they are replacing for free

I can buy this light from you? Honestly it is a easy fix but I was planning on doing something crazy to the headlights.

Well you ARE in NY so maybe I will be a nice guy and give you my headlight guy's info.

All you need to do is swap out the projector and that's it from the looks of it. $100 fix and while the light is apart, you can have it painted or whatever.
