Default Wind noise w/window closed

I know some guys had issues with wind noise from the driver side, I have that with the window closed, and its only the driver side, so I took the car in yesterday and had the tech drive it, and he heard it, and he said WOW, I never seen that before, then my service adviser told me he had 2 other cars last week with the same issue, so they kept my car overnight, so the service guy calls me today, after the shop foreman sees it also and they called the Lexus tech line and they said they have heard abt it, so now they gonna replace both my front windows with the dbl glass ones, same as the ones in the cold package ones, and the LS, I guess the LS had the same issue so the 2013 has the dbl glass on it, because they gave me a 2012 LS460 as a loaner and it has the regular glass.so I will find of whts going on by next week keep u guys posted if anybody has the same issues.

what dealer did u take this to? i definitely hear wind noise in the freeway but i don't know what's considered normal. this isn't a 100k s-class so i don't expect the car to be quiet, but not sure if my wind noise is normal or not.

Lexus should be able to pick up the charge of retinting, I'm going to try for this.

The dealership had advised me to remove the protective film off the driver side mirror housing. It may be the source for the wind/whistling noise. I have been reluctant, but will try it later this week.

They should be able to tell what it comes with by cross referencing the VIN. Did they change out both front windows for you?

I thought I also read that it comes with ML sound system? I have the double glass but NOT the cold weather package.

The single pane glass decreases the vehicle weight for better Nürburgring lap times.
