Default Finally made the leap!

After much stalling on my part because I hate car dealerships, my 98 LS400 finally has a friend in the garage. I brought home a 2013 GS350 F Sport on Thursday night, the GM's demo car, in Starfire. I have already had the windows tinted and the radio on loud enough to vibrate my hair.

My 3rd vehicle is a 2009 Ford Expedition EL, with everything including remote start so the kiddies can watch their movies while I load it. I already hate the remote start on the GS. Other than that, the kids have had first hand demonstrations of the meaning of G-force. They try to get me to guess how many g's we're pulling when i floor it. Love those kids.

So what is so exciting about push start in a car anyway? So far I'm not finding it to be worth what I lost with remote start.

If your experience is anything like mine in a short time you will come to treasure the smart key and push to start and will find yourself getting into your others cars with the keys in your pocket and then have to dig for them. And you will walk up to the car and expect it to open for you, again with the key or remote still in your pocket. My wife and I have both resolved that we would not buy a future car without this feature.

And congratulations on your new GS.

Yep, I agree about the smart key. Bat feature to come out on a car in a long time. I will never buy a car without the smart key.
