Default Nav screen question

Sold my 04 GS and got a 13 yesterday. When I am driving in town and I know where I am going, I would prefer to not see the map on the left side of the 12 inch screen. I would prefer to see music information on the left side of the screen. I can temporarily accomplish this by clicking on the music symbol with the left arrow beside it. The problem is the results only last a minute or so. Is there a way to make the results last?

Yes, there's an option in the menu for auto transition, or something like that. By default it's on. If you set it to off, the screen will stay on the music until you press the MAP button.

It worked!!! I think the option that I turned off was called "auto screen change".

Perfect!!! Thanks for your help.
