I agree, I have the same problem with my F-Sport and it is rather annoying. I thought it was just me but it looks like a lot of people are having this problem.

Me three. I travel every other week so I am constantly loading luggage in and out. I never have a problem.

The trunk lid is no better than my wife's old Ford Taurus. It just kind of pops open and when it reaches the top it kind of bounces. It is the cheapest feeling trunk lid of any luxury brand car I know of. I recently had a VW Jetta rental car and it even had gas dampers so that the trunk lid opened in a much more fluid operation. That was a $17k car!
I personally think this car should have a power closing lid, or at least hinges as good as on the previous GS. I really hate this trunk lid.

Bought my car without a spoiler... closed fine using handle, closed fine without handle.

I had them put an Fsport factory spoiler on a month after I bought it... no difference. I don't think it has anything to do with the spoiler weight on the trunk.

But yes, overall, the trunk is not a strong point on this car. But does it really diminish my enjoyment of the car? Not really.
