In my 08 A6 I was able to set the doors to auto lock after 1 minute. However in the GS it seems auto lock only works once you take the car out of park. With my wife driving it a lot I would like the car to auto lock once a driver is in even while in park. This possible?

 

The GS offers 4 auto door lock/unlock settings
1. Auto lock when car reaches 13mph
2. Auto lock when driver shifts from P
3. Auto unlock by shift to P
4. Auto unlock by driver door

I may be mistaken, but I don't think it offers a means of auto-locking based on elapsed time.

 

Lex - if I'm understanding you correctly, you're asking it to auto-lock once the car is turned on and she's still sitting in park? If so, jj14 is correct I don't think there's an option for that.
