Default Blinker Relay

Does anyone know the location of blinker relay on 4GS? How to remove/replace it?

It seem like the turn signal click sound came from a speaker behind the dash so I couldn't figure out the location of the blinker relay.

Just curious, but why would you want to replace it?

I replaced all my turn signal bulbs to LED and it got hyper flash. Replace a blinker would solve the problem and I don't have to tap to the wire for resistor.

Other Lexus/Toyota very easy since the blinker relay located behind near the steering column, but I guess the 4GS use something different since they have the temporary lane change signal and use a beeper to making the click sound.

I was just at he dealer yesterday for a 5k service and asked for a few dealer only customizations. One of them was to change the number of time quick turn signal blinks from 3 to 7. Well long story short, he could not find this option, but he did show me a few pages from the official dealer's manual from Lexus. One of them is a loudness setting on the turn signal. Three levels and the loudest is the default. I had him change the level to the quietest. It worked, although its still a bit too loud for my taste. But its much better. This is not in the owners manual. Ver6 strange He's looking into the other option listed above, which is in the manual and I know from this forum does exist.

Thanks for documenting this. It's one of the 3 pet peeves I have with my 2013 GS-350. Does a dealer need to make this change or was it something in the options within the on screen settings? I couldn't find it on screen. Thanks!

You can do it yourself using the instructions shown here:

Thanks but I was actually interested in the the loudness setting. I'm guessing that is something the dealer has to perform?

Thanks for sharing. I'll need to write down so I'll remember when I come in for 5K service. This is the first thing that bugged me when I test drove the car. It felt like driving a domestic Ford. Don't know why they can't have something else more pleasant for the ears. I'm glad that the loudness can be reduced. Thanks.
