The 3.5 month wait for me is over tomorrow, Saturday 5/12!!!!!
I am a TMS employee and ordered a special order GS, so it has taken awhile. The Lexus Southern area doesn't order AWD vehicles, so I had to special order.

2013 GS AWD
Starfire Pearl exterior, cabernet interior
Fsport with Cold weather pckg
Mark Levinson
Navigation
Heads up display
Blind spot monitor
Remote engine start
Wheel locks
Trunk mat

I have yet to see an Fsport in person, nor the cabernet interior so I am really looking fwd to seeing both tomorrow let alone it be mine!!

the wait must have been excruciating, i'm still in the market for mine and its so hard to stay patient i can't even imagine having ordered one and having to wait so long.

Why did you want the AWD, if you don't mind me asking?

 

Dang it's really a 3 1/2 month wait? I ordered an awd f sport with ML about a month ago. Guess I'll have to keep waiting.

 

I don't know how you can wait that long for a car, you must be patient!

Tucker, thanks! I will definitely post pictures tomorrow. The last 48 hours have been the worst to wait. The 3.5 months is typical for a brand new employee lease order from Japan.

LexusNN, I will def post Picts when I get back tomorrow.

Jtrue, I currently have a loaded up TRD FJ Cruiser 4*4 and really like having the 4wd if I need it. So I opted for AWD in case my fiancé and I take trips in winter time, etc.

What's the employee lease offer?

 

Fai, I order it through my work HQ at TMS, I don't to anything with the dealer except sign my lease papers.

 

Only 3.5 months, I put in a order and paid a deposit back in January, still not arriving here in the UK till mid June, now I have just had a phone call telling me that the delivery date has been put back by another 2 weeks so probably looking at the first week in July.

 

Chris, wow that sucks! I thought 3.5 months was enough. Are they giving u a reason on why it keeps delaying?
