Default debadging??

I was wondering if anyone debadged their cars...specifically the GS 350 and the AWD on the trunk, not the L emblem. I'm considering doing it but wondering if I should...any pics? THANKS!!

It's going to require filling in holes.

I think they are held by double sided tape...the L emblem will have holes. As far as why, it just looks cleaner. I did it to my past two 5 series and my Honda prior, but for some reason I'm a bit hesitant on the GS...

That was not the case on the 3GS. Once you removed the emblems, there were guide holes left in the trunk.

I was thinking about swapping mine out for black chrome to better match the wheels (I have a white GS) but then I remembered the front spindle grill chrome, the rear trunk chrome and of course the window chrome so I'm going to just leave it the way it is.

BTW debadging a GS doesn't hide anything, they all have the same engine. Now debadging a BMW is a different story, you could have a 328i with the 4cyl turbo and debadge it and someone wouldn't know it wasn't a 335i 6cyl turbo. Or debadge a 550i makes it a sleeper car because you woldnt know it wast a 528 lol

This guy debadged his GS350 logo. I don't see holes.

I'm not trying to hide anything, it's more of a cleaner look in my opinion. I wanted to do it but wanted to see how it would look. Thanks to MKIV98TT's post, I got my pic!!

i recommend using either a product similar to "goo gone" or even alcohol or soapy water, to lessen the adhesion of the glue. do this while applying heat with a hair dryer, again to soften and lessen the adhesive properties. indont recommend using the alcohol and hair dryer together however.
