I doubt it. The software update will require a trip to dealer.

When is this update due out? My car is at port right now, which is a whole other story, so I won't see it till the 19th of May. I wonder if mine will be fixed when I take delivery. Funny thing about this is...about a week ago I went and test drove one and when I put it in reverse I saw the lines and immediately turned the wheel to see if they moved as well and was kind of disappointed that they didn't as I've seen this option in much lesser vehicles! Nice to see them correct it!

I wonder if the delay was due to the calibrations needed between 2 wheel steering and the Dynamic Handling rear steering models. I would imagine they would have different turning radiuses.

I work at a dealer as a tech and I have not heard of any update coming. I will ask our DS and see what he has heard.

It would be nice if someone could confirm or deny this update!

It really is not that big of a deal to me if the lines move or not. My last car was an infiniti and it did that and trust me, I didnt drive around thinking "gosh I am so glad my backup lines moves when I turn the wheel". We have backup sensors if your gonna hit something it will tell you.

I just called my dealer service people and they said that their isn't an update, and one isn't coming out. Hopefully the lady was wrong.

To be honest it doesn't make huge difference to me either. For me it's really just the principle of it all. I mean, let's be honest...there are much cheaper cars out there that do indeed give you the predicted path, why should our high-end Lexus not be equipped to do this
???
