It doesn't, though. My 15 had dual pane windows, but no cold weather package.

The 'Cold Weather Package' does not necessarily mean the car has double pane front-door glass. Double pane front-door glass was installed in various GS 350 models with no particular reasoning for options or locale.

I checked the window sticker on my 2015; it said heated steering wheel, high intensity heater and water repellent front door glass was part of the F-sport package.

Wanted to check on this myself.... I have the 2013 Lux package and there are double pane windows for the front passengers but only single pane in the rear. Kinda strange but it is what it is.

I wish the rear windows were also double pane.

I thought it was hit-or-miss whether Luxury models had dual pane windows.

Perhaps it should also be stated that I have the cold weather package as well?

Just picked up a 2016 base with cold-weather package and dual-pane windows. Am wanting to have my windows tinted...has anybody with dual panes had their windows tinted? Any issues that I should anticipate?

thanks

My dual pane windows are tinted, no difference from tinting a regular window. No issues.

Are the dual-panes actually thicker or are they two panes half as thick as a normal, sandwiched together? In other words, can you add dual-panes to one that has a single?

It's slightly thicker, two thinner panes with plastic material in between. yes you can swap your single pane for dual pane.
