Default Lexus F Troop

was just reading an article in car and driver. Lexus states that a GS-F is coming soon. equipped with a 5.0 liter V8 465hp engine. priced from 90 to 100,000. 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds. highest performance in the GS line (obviously). didn't give any particulars on the IS-F.

Haha, hes just showing us the amount of spacing left after dropping the 3.5L in.. Meaning theres plenty of room left for a 5.0, 6.3, 6.5 etc..

IMHO, GS-F will never sell at $90K+ and Lexus as well as everyone else know this... Unless of course Lexus builds something that can actually beat the 3 Germans in handling and straight line performance, especially the AMG and M5. Then perhaps the $90K+ would seem like a good deal.

however, I think that if they decide to use the ISF engine then I don't see why the car should be priced at $90K or above?

the article stated that the car was going to go up against the M5 and the E63 AMG.

It will probably sell as well as the LS600H. For my $100k, its a GTR.

Lexus would need to price the GSF if they make one at a price similar to the XFR. If Jaguar wasn't such a pos in terms of reliability I'd certainly buy that car.
