Is anyone finding dealer(s) with KNOWN inventory (car has been allocated and is at port), date the car will be onsite @ dealership, AND date the car will be available for sale ??
Can't seem to get my local dealers to agree on anything other than "we are working on it" ..
BTW ..
I'm looking for a Black / Tan -OR- Black / Grey with "all the options" (or as close as I can get).

Reason: Added the car I'm looking for
Some dealers already have them in inventory. I mentioned in another thread that Lexus of Orlando has about 20 sitting out back in various colors and options. Only 1 black that I recall, and it was an F-Sport with black interior. This past Sunday, I was told that they will be available for sale in a "couple weeks."
The commercial they released said 2/5/12....SuperBowl. That would coincide with the SuperBowl commercial they are planning to release as well. There won't be a lot of inventory by then, but this way they'll have something to sell after people see the commercial.
There are now 189 listed on Cars.com, whereas just last week there were only 50...so they're slowly trickling in.
I questioned my local dealer on the cars already at Lexus of Orlando. Got the "straight scoop" from my local dealer today (with the help of their Lexus zone manager) ... as already mentioned, most of the GSs at Lexus of Orlando, are not for the dealer they were part of the regional drive event for dealers).
Dealers are not allowed to sell a 4GS before 5-JAN-2012. The Lexus zone manager was quite tenacious on that point. Even if the dealer has inventory, apparently there are several Lexus systems that would prevent the car from being delivered to the consumer.
Also the dealer's inventory manager spent a minute with me, and the allocations are starting to filter down to the dealers. However, "in port" dates are already closer to end of February now.
BTW .. my 4GS (Black / Grey) Luxury + has a port date of 5-FEB :-)
