Question Headlight Washer Operation

I haven't been able to figure out how to operate the head light washers on my 2018 GS F Sport AWD.
I can't find anything in owner's manual or a YouTube video. According to my VIN, the car has this option.
Thanks

If you have the washers, then they will work if you have the headlights on and use the windshield washers. If I remember correctly, it's the first use of wiper washer with headlights on, and then every 5th time thereafter. It resets each time you turn the headlights on/off or restart the car.

Another question about the headlight washers.
Is it ok to use them while traveling on the highway (high speeds)?
My Audi S4 had headlight washers and I was warned about using them on the highway as the covers were known to fly off.

Dang, headlight washer information is tough to find in the manual. I just flipped through mine and didn't find it in the index at all.

However... In the wipers section, it briefly mentions it:

"Vehicles with headlight cleaners:

When the headlights are on and the lever is pulled and held, the headlight cleaners will operate once. After this, the headlight cleaners will operate every 5th time the lever is pulled."

So I validated my earlier response.

There is a list of cautions/limitations, but nowhere does it mention that they can't or shouldn't be used at speed. I've never heard of issues on this before with the GS. Not sure I've tried on mine, though.

Thanks. I'll check it out when it gets warmer in Michigan where I live.

Haha what a dumb design. I have used my headlight washers at highway speeds with no issue. It would be pretty crazy if they could be damaged that way, since you cannot really stop the headlight washers from operating on 2016+ GS.

Not that it may help at all, but there's be a few times I've ran my washers at about 80mph and the tops still haven't popped off.

I use mine so infrequently that I should probably give them a go and make sure they still work!
