Default Headlight Help

My passenger headlight has been flickering. Figured it was the ballast so I was gonna replace.
But I noticed that if I bump it with fist, the trim piece that goes around the lens moves around a lot. Doesn’t happen on my other headlight.

is the assembly shot? Do I need a whole new headlight or is that just something out of place? Thanks

heres a link to a video of it:

This is something you got to shine a light directly inside and see whats going on. You might also have to open the little side clear cap, feel with your finger for anything loose. It could be something stupid as adjuster improperly adjusted and inside came off.

Worst case, you remove the headlight, put the headlight in the oven pry open the clear lens, fix the broken issue, reseal it with windshield silicone. You have to remove the bumper to reach the headlight bolts.

I felt inside using that side cutout. The reflector that is around the lens (what’s moving in the video) is not attached to anything and freely moving around. Also the whole motorized lens has way too much sway (2x the driver headlight)

unfortunately not enough room to do anything to fix it.
im worried about opening the unit because if I don’t seal it correctly it will probably break the headlight and be a waste of time.
thoughts?

When do you need to use the headlight washers?

I think they operate automatically whenever you clean your windshield.

Headlights have to be on for headlight nozzles to work. Using them on at highway speeds makes more sense as the wind helps spread and clean off the fluid.

I use them to assist in de-icing. Other than that, it makes more of a mess than good.
