I picked up an 08 gs 350 awd. Has f sport rims on it. On my way home I lost the right side low beam. Then i lost the left side. So i drive home with high beams on. Hvent torn into the car but after looking on here and searching i am wondering if i go ahead and replace ballast and bulb together or start with bulbs?
I am still thinking about maybe an led conversion for low beams. Anyone had good luck? If so please let me know.

Seems a bit odd that both went out like that. Most likely a ballast issue, but it'd be best to start with the cheapest solution first (bulbs), then go from there. Or, like you said, if you're wanting to do an LED conversion, now would be the best time, rather than spending money on new bulbs, then buy the LED kit.
