Question Driver Door lock cylinder help

I recently purchased an 07 GS 350 and for some reason I didn't notice the driver door lock cylinder was missing upon inspection. The seller decided not to mention it either. I removed the driver door trim and checked to see if the cylinder was hiding inside the door but it was not there. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with changing the lock cylinder. Are there interchangeable parts from other models or years? What would be the most cost effective way to fix this? Thanks in advance.

I unfortunately don't have experience with replacing a door lock cylinder/actuator, however, after a bit of research, our generation of the GS is is built off of the Toyota "N" platform. This platform is also shared with certain models of the IS, LS, and SC models (see below) --

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_N_platform

My car had a failing door lock actuator that I ultimately had the dealer replace, and they had to take the interior of the door apart to reach all of the necessary components. You might want to review
for guidance. For parts, I would search eBay to see if you can get a new one from a third-party retailer or Lexus dealership (I wouldn't buy a used or salvaged one) to get the best deal.

Hope this helped!
