Just picked up an 07 350 GS, the touch screen does not recognize any touch at all. I can still navigate VIA the buttons, I just cannot utilize any of the touch functions. Is there a known fix for this, or is this a situation where the whole GPS head unit needs to be replaced?

Thank you I will give it a try before I order a new head unit. Looks like a common problem.

 

If I do repair it will I be able to stream audio via Bluetooth like I could in my 10is250?

 

 

Well I sure am happy I asked that question first, there's no need in me getting the unit fixed if I can't stream Bluetooth. Now I'll have to look into getting something else to replace the old unit. Thanks for the info

please don't fix this problem the cheap way using the circuit writer pen method. fix it the right way and never have to worry about it happening again. do it once do it right.

the replacement digitizer costs $35 on ebay. circuit writer pen costs $21.99 on amazon. you'll thank me later

 

Correct. I did this same repair on an '08 IS250. I used the circuit writer first, and it lasted for a few weeks. I replaced the digitizer and it's still going strong after over a year.

 

I was offered another option today, what would I need to install a manual air conditioning control unit? Like if I wanted to make my vehicle a non GPS. 350 I would need the manual control panel, and anyone know what part number that is or where to find one?
