Default engine lights

I have a 2008 es350 w/ 119k miles. I had the oil changeD and a new axle shaft assembly and the next day the VSC light and check eninge light came on I had driven maybe 30 miles since the oil change. I took it back and they said its the oil sensors per the code. So my hubby takes it in today and as they are driving home to drop my hubby at home the low oil pressure light comes on. Now what. It seems too coincidental that all this happens after the oil change. Car has been fine till this point. Any help or suggestions? TIA

Do not drive the car, tow it to the lexus dealer! Have them examine it, to me it sounds like maybe the oil place didnt properly seat the o-ring on the oil filter housing. Have you guys checked the oil level on the dipstick to make sure theres oil in the engine? If the oil light is on thats very bad, tow the car before you do any damage to the engine.

Sure it could be a bad sensor, but they are not common, sounds like the oil change place screwed something up. Its a small price to pay for a tow truck and an hours worth of diagnostic vs buying a new engine. If the oil change place is at fault, the report from the lexus dealer will show it, and then you can have that oil change place pay for damages.

Default Response to VSC ,check engine light and P0430 code

Bought scan tool got P0430 code.dealer replace Oxygen sensor after I told them it was the Cat. Went online to EPA.gov and found that under federal law the cat has a 8 year 80,000 mile warranty so yes Lexus will be replacing it for free but they won’t tell you that.my car is a 2011 GS 350 with 65,000 miles . Threaten to sue them if I did not get a refund for the oxygen sensor they replaced . That sensor cost about $600 to change . Got my money back for the sensor and cat changed for free . Please do your research before you go to the dealer they are crooks .they got me for Spark plugs and fuel injection cleaning and a diagnosis fee. But it was time for the plugs to get changed and a cleaning so I feel I came out on top.

Has anyone else experienced this before? It drives fine otherwise...
I have a 2007 GS 350 AWD with the same exact indications on the dash. What was your fix?

Very rarely do the cats go bad, and if they did its because of something very wrong like worn out plugs, or bad ignition coil causing unburnt fuel into the cats.

AWD's mid pipes rust this allows exhaust fumes to escape, triggering a bad cat or o2 sensor. For anyone with an awd, its best to remove the tin covering the mid pipes as that allows moisture to collect. Next take the car to a muffler shop and have them test for leaks, with the engine running have someone in the back block off the exhaust tips with a rag. If there are any leaks you should be able to hear and see where they are coming from.

I was also doubting my CATS for the same reason, not saying its not possible for the wear & tear process to begin at this stage (age). After I hooked up my OBDII scanner in Live mode, my O2 temps and voltage appear to be in normal parameters during idle; however, while driving all operational readings are normal with exception to bank 2/ sensor 2 readings dropping below every now and then. Definitely not consistently. I plan to put it on the lift and check for leaks, but, I'm leaning towards a bad O2 Sensor bank 2 downstream.
