Default Light colored interior worn a common issue?

I've been on the search for a 3rd Gen GS and pretty much all the ones with light colored interior, tan it seems even more, almost always have a worn out driver seat bottom. Is that a typical issue? It's making me want to take any light colored interior off my list of ones to look at. Black interiors look to be holding up much better.

They wear the same just easier to see on light colors. That being said, I just chalk it up to people not properly caring for the leather seats, but I’ll admit these do not wear as well as some other leather interiors I’ve had.

I also had a 2006, which wore better but I’ll be honest, and it could be just in my head, the 2009’s leather seems much softer.

Color is a factor, care for the leather, tinted windows, etc. But you're correct black hides the most, whites and tans is the worst.
