Default Navigation Question

I know this might be a crazy question. I am wondering if there is a way to get like an aftermarket navigation program installed in our OEM units. I haven't seen on so I might be dreaming about it lol.. I am wanting something better displayed, like 3D effects or something.. just not bird's eye view hahaha.

if there is one any pics of anyone using it.

thanks

I doubt it. I've looked as well. Considering that the screen pulls multi-duty as nav, radio, climate etc. I don't think the hardware can handle a level of upgrade to a newer/faster more functional GUI, it would be awesome if someone with mad hacking skills can update the software to make it look a little more up to date, but that might be deefeecult.

I've seen videos on YouTube of people installing all sorts of hardware and software into the OEM units, but the quality is sketchy ... The only modifications I've seen are for video streaming and bluetooth, however.
