Back up Camera
Hi guys, first time Lexus owner because i needed a comfy commuter car to rack up miles on. So far the '11 GS350 fits the bill.
Question, when i'm backing up and look at my back up camera i don't see any guidelines like i do in my other cars. Is that available on this car?
Also, i thought i would have a rear parking audio sensor that beeps when i get closer to things?
Just not sure if this is normal not to have these two things or maybe my car didn't come with them as an option.
Thanks,
Frank

The only time I've seen the guidelines on the reverse camera was on a post here, and I believe the owner was from Germany or something. Outside of theirs, I've never seen it on our cars.
As for the parking sensors, do you have the circular studs on your rear bumper? The front has rectangular. If not, then your car doesn't have the sensors.

You should go to www.lexusdrivers.com and log in for free. Under resources you will find
your Owner's Manual and Navigation Manual. No, 2011 GS's did not have back up camera
guide lines. Does yours have the dime sized sensors on the front and rear bumpers? If so
you need to open the small hinged drawer on the lower left dash and you will find buttons
for the Park Assist. Many other toys to be had as well, be sure to close it or you will whack
a knee against it when exiting the car!
