Sodium, thank you.

Do you know if the crankshaft sensor is accessible without removing any other parts?

Is the ac compressor really in the way, does it need to be removed to access it?

Thank you

Looks like it. Maybe you can just remove the fasteners and slide the compressor out of the way without actually detaching the refrigerant lines and losing all your R134, but I've never actually replaced the sensor so I'll defer to SILENTM on this one

Well if sliding the compressor out of the way doesn't work, you could just disconnect it and then get the A/C system recharged (and tell the shop you disconnected it because you thought it was an oil pump so they don't go looking for leaks or anything)

What is your reason for replacing this sensor. normally if the crank sensor goes out you will get a long crank/start after the engine is hot

Sometimes my car havena hard time starting, it will take longer than usually till it starts up.

Also my rpm needle bounces up and down when the car is cold. It doesn't happen to much when its warm up.

Ive also notice my rpm would stay still or drodrop little when acaccelerating between 20 to 40 and 40 to 80.

I got an check engine light 2 weeks ago for crankshaft senor but the funnt thing is the check engine light disappeared when i unplug the batter terminal.

What do you guys think it is? Does sound like a bad/faulty crankshaft senor?

Thank you for all your help guys, very much appreciated.
