I have a 2006 GS 300 I have my Samsung Note 2 connected to the Bluetooth in the car but no music.... will this work??? Or what do I need to make it wrk???
nope, unfortunately in stock form the bluetooth link will only do voice calls. If you want to stream music over bluetooth, you will have to install an adapter. I had mine done at a stereo shop for like 300 bucks installed. most people here have a vaistech , mine was a different brand I'm not sure what though. in my opinion definitely worth it.
I used to recommend the Grom kit, but the Vaistech kit is so much better. Years of anger blaming my tablet for audio drop outs etc was actually the Grom.

Music streams well with 2013 GS350 and no adapter required! Just make sure bluetooth connects to audio player. I have Samsung Note 3 and 5
VAIS is an excellent option but I would like to keep the original interface, that's why I'm using GTA Car kit for mine. Pretty simple to install and not too costly. I paid $150
Audio drop outs? what do you mean?
been using my kit for a year now, no issues, and I use it everyday. It does what I want it to do and more,so that's a plus. (and cheaper than vais)
It would just stop playing music and I'd have to disconnect and reconnect for it to work again.
The Vaistech version has worked every time, right from the start. The ability to display artist and song text, while minor, is a nice touch that makes it seem more factory.
