I have taken my 06 GS430 to Lexus and one other shop and they have both said I need to replace the ABS actuator pump ($3K + Labor !!!!!!!!!)... I have searched HIGH and LOW for this part as well as used; NO LUCK. My question is, can this part be rebuilt? Also, is it possible for it only to be the fuse that has gone bad? There is a constant buzzing sound coming from the actuator while driving and shortly after car is turned off. ANY help??[B] My part # is 44050-30670
Sorry to hear. A bit off topic, but how do you tell if you need to replace the ABS actuator? Have you considered looking at a wrecked 3gs and pulling it?
from the small amount of research i did, the 2006 GS300, and 2006 GS430 took the same actuator. I bet you would have a much easier time finding a used on from a GS300.
I see ABS pumps used on ebay for 190 bucks! Verify the pics and if it looks the same give it a shot. These things rarely break so buying a used one, would surely last the life of the car.
According to the pic of your actuator the part number is 89541-30260.
If that is the actual pic of the one in your car, then it is the same as a 2006 rwd gs 300.
Go to car-part.com type in your info. There are plenty on there for $150.00 and up. Good luck

Yes, this is the actual pic of the part that's currently in my car. You think the Gs300 will work??

I have the same problem with my 450h. The dealership quoted me over $4K to replace the ABS actuator. Seems like this is a common problem, doing a quick google search shows that many other Toyotas/Lexus models experience the same issues. The dealer told me that 44050-30670 is the corrected version of 44050-30260. DO NOT install 44050-30260 into your car because sooner or later the same issue will occur. If you find any solution please let me know as I have just been driving my car with all the lights flashing.

I sent him this ebay auction a little late. Maybe you can benefit from it
Well guys, after much headache, the problem is FINALLY fixed. I kept getting the run around that ONLY the 06 GS430 model ABS pump (part # 44050-30670); WRONG. I found one on eBay from a 2013 GS450H (same breaking system). After really eye-balling the one I had in my car and this one on eBay, I didn't see any difference in the two by eye so I took the chance. Keep in mind, the 44050-30670 was over 2K........Long story short, dropped in the new one yesterday and rolling like new. Hope this helps someone because this was TRULY a headache for me!
