Hello guys,

I need a new low beam headlight bulb and was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on a good bulb that comes at a good price.

Had Garax 6000k, was slightly blue in color but was noticeably dimmer than stock. Went to Philips 6000k and happy with the output. Nearly a pure white color

I second this, although I replaced Garax with Carmate GIGA HID from Japan. I had purchased Garax for my 2nd gen gs since it was highly recommended here, but found the light output poor compared to stock and carmate. To put this in perspective I replaced the garax bulbs within 1 week.

For my 3rd gen I decided to go straight from OEM to Carmate.

Phillips is a safe bet since they are used as oem.

Never heard of that brand before, I might try it once these go out! Thanks for sharing that output picture...stock looks so ugly compared to those Gigas..

These are from Japan directly as they do not sell them here in USA. You will be able to find it at amazon.co.jp There are many tutorials on youtube on how to order and ship to the states.

I have provided a direct link to the correct bulb. With the exchange rate where it is these should be a steal!

http://www.amazon.co.jp/%E3%82%AB%E3...giga+dualx+d4s

This is my "go to" bulb for my families fleet. So far tested on 2000 gs300, 2001 LS430, 2004 Rx400h, 2003 RX330 and my GS450h. No issues and great output...even in rain!
