Default Headlight color looks weird...

I am noticing something funky with my headlights and am wondering if this is a sign that my bulb is about to go. I have 1 bulb that is normal (Bright white HID) and the other is a Purplish color. Does this mean the purplish color bulb is going or about to go bad?

Thanks

Yessir, its only a matter of time. Same thing happened to me, the bulb held on for about 2 more weeks after it started.

It's almost time your bulbs are done. Just go order a new pair ahead of time

Yup you all were right. The day after I posted this, the bulb blew out! Now I have been checking around online for some replacement bulbs. Are our bulbs the Xenon kind or Halogen? When I called the dealership they told me it was going to be $275 a bulb. I found some D2R HID bulbs online for $145 a pair but then I saw some other ones for under $100 so I am getting confused with the kind I should be installing. I will say that one I saw for under 100 bucks was for only 1 bulb.

Here is a link to the ones I saw for $145:

If you think I can do better price wise from another site, please share but I think these are the kind I need.

If I am not mistaken I think the bulbs are around $90 a piece at Auto Zone, Advanced, Carquest and etc, but don't quote me on that.

Unless you don't mind having 2 different looking headlights I'd get 2 bulbs
(since the other one will probably go out soon anyways)

As for price, going to the stealership is a BAD idea
That's the worst thing you could do.....

And I think, it's D2R right?

Also check on ebay, I think our bulbs are really cheap on there..
Quality I have no idea...

Oh crap you are in delaware?!
Hey neighbor! I went to UDel

Oh sweet what company do you work for?
You do primarily production & editing, or do you shoot too?
I gotta see some of your work!

Yeah 5DmkII is beautiful, it makes me want to do more video stuff!!!
But for me it is too difficult doing stills and video at the same time.
